It’s all business as usual for defending champions Rajeev Ram and Joe Salisbury, who maintained their perfect record at this year’s Nitto ATP Finals on Friday when they defeated already eliminated Rinky Hijikata and Jason Kubler by a hard-fought 5-7, 6- 1, 10-2.

Ram and Salisbury, who had already qualified for the semifinals, won 78% (29/37) of their first serves to win in 83 minutes, improving to 3-0 in the Red Group. The sixth seeds will now face Santiago González and Edouard Roger-Vasselin in the semifinals, while Marcel Granollers and Horacio Zeballos will meet Rohan Bopanna and Matthew Ebden.

Ram and Salisbury have won their last eight matches in Turin, having lifted the trophy at the end of year event 12 months ago. Earlier this season, the British-American pair captured their third consecutive US Open crown.

Hijikata and Kubler, Australian Open champions, meanwhile, finish the round with a record of 0-3.
