Tourists from all over the world visit Sydney Harbor to take the iconic photograph next to its famous bridge. The stars of the United Cup came this Friday to fulfill the tradition before starting to compete at the Ken Rosewall Arena from Saturday.

Top players from Poland (Hubert Hurkacz and Iga Swiatek), Australia (Alex de Miñaur and Olivia Gadecki), Great Britain (Billy Harris and Katie Boulter) and Italy (Flavio Cobolli and Jasmine Paolini) enjoyed the views before starting a new season.

“I love coming to Australia, Sydney has treated me very well,” Hurkacz said. “I’ve played great games and some good battles. The city is great, the people,… I love the atmosphere here. We all come after a little break, it’s the start of a new season. We’re all looking forward to playing to tennis”.

One of the great recent stories in tennis has been the wedding engagement between De Minaur and Boulter. While their companions posed together, the couple also took advantage of the moment to take some photographs. With that happy moment off the slopes, both are focused on getting the season off to a good start.

“I’ve never associated playing in Australia with added pressure,” said De Minaur, who had three Top 10 wins in the United Cup last year. “I’ve always associated it with emotion, it’s something I look forward to every season. I can’t to do it as many times as I would like. Every time I come here, the season starts. I know that I play in front of my team and it is always exciting for me to play my best tennis.
