The rain has caused the cancellation of Friday night’s match at Roland Garros, a measure that only affects outdoor court matches.

Bad weather has postponed three singles matches in the clay court tournament, all in the third round and all already relocated to Saturday’s matchday at Roland Garros (see schedule).

Felix Auger-Aliassime, seeded No. 21, served for the first set with the score 5-4 in his favor against the American Ben Shelton, seeded No. 15. While Poland’s Hubert Hurkacz leads Denis Shapovalov by 6-3, 7-6(0), 2-1. The Canadian will return to the court with his serve and the game at 40/40. Additionally, Grigor Dimitrov is up 6-3, 2-1 against Belgian Zizou Bergs.

The rain has once again affected the schedule like almost every day of the tournament in Paris, and has only allowed the matches won by Jannik Sinner (d. Kotov), Matteo Arnaldi (d. Rublev), Stefanos Tsitsipas ( v. to Zhang), as well as the ongoing duels between Carlos Alcaraz and Sebastian Korda, and Sebastian Ofner and Corentin Moutet.
