With 38 years, Rafael Nadal closed his legendary career on November 20, playing for Spain at the Davis Cup finals in Malaga. After more than two decades in the elite (22 years), building an unrepeatable legacy both on and off the track, the Spanish closed its stage as a tennis player, putting an end to a spectacular adventure that has led him to become One of the great figures in the history of sport.

After taking a step to the side, the 22 Grand Slam titles champion opened a new chapter in his life dedicated to the family, and many other projects that the Balearic has ahead.

For example, Nadal traveled three days to Jeddah to attend the Next Gen ATP Finals present by Pif, where he had the opportunity to meet Alex Michelsen, Jakub Mensik and Joao Fonseca, who ended up getting the title of champion. In addition to seeing some games, Nadal also gave a clinic for children on the tracks of the Jeddah’s Racquet Space club, giving them an unforgettable moment.

In between, Mallorcan has also had time to enjoy another of its great passions: football. Renowned follower of Real Madrid, Nadal visited Pep Guardiola and Manchester City players, such as Erling Haaland, Bernardo Silva, Jack Grealish or Manuel Akanji, at Manchester City Football Academy.

Without losing sight of Rafa Nadal Academy by Movistar, the high performance center that remains one of the most important projects in the Balearic ecosystem. Nadal, a usual day to day and also in decision making, was present a few days ago in the first ITF category title ($ 15,000) conquered by Naoya Honda, academy player. Nadal was in the stands, encouraging the Japanese player.

The winner of 92 ATP Tour titles, of course, has also taken the opportunity to enjoy another of his great passions: golf.

With a 0.3 handicap, Nadal has continued to dispute tournaments, some with the Rafa Nadal Academy team, enjoying another of its great passions and, perhaps, taking steps towards assaulting new challenges in another sport. This time, with a bag of golf sticks to the shoulder and in the middle of nature.
