You need to work more and more to achieve your dream, which is to be No. 1 ”.
Fonseca is not only a national icon, but a great world star. Throughout the last year, he has received the support of fans worldwide. It is common to see in the stands wave the Brazilian flag during its matches accompanied by the song: “Jo-Ao Fon-Seca! Jo-Ao Fon-Seca! ”

“From Brazil, the impact is enormous. People know me a little more. It’s very nice. Brazilians like to encourage this boy a lot, ”Fonseca said about himself. “But at the same time, I need to be concentrated.”
“People are going to talk a lot, they have high expectations. You need to be focused on your routine, work more and more, ”he added.
Fonseca, who became a professional last February, is second in the PIF ATP Live Race to Jeddah, only surpassed by Learner Tien, whom he defeated in the final in Jeddah. Tien gave one of the great surprises of the tournament, by beating the fifth favorite Daniil Medvedev in the second round. The American, who exceeded the previous one, reached the fourth round.
