The #NextGenATP Brazilian will compete next week as a wild card at the Terra Wortmann Open in Halle, the tournament announced on Friday. It will be the 17-year-old’s first participation on the grass circuit.

Fonseca began the year outside the Top 700 of the PIF ATP Rankings. but he is currently at No. 224, the best of his career, after six very good months.
