Carlos Alcaraz landed in Murcia a few days ago, after falling in the quarterfinals of the Australian Open against Novak Djokovic in a spectacular match. After a few days of rest, after the start of the course in the first Grand Slam of the year, No. 3 of the PIF ATP Rankings returned to the training on Monday to prepare their next commitments, which will lead him to play in two events in which He has never participated.

Thus, Alcaraz will first travel to Rotterdam to play the ABN Amro Open, a historical tournament of the ATP Tour calendar, and then set up to Doha, where he will play the Qatar Exxonmobil Open.

After five days without touching the racket, the 21 -year -old returned to work under the supervision of Juan Carlos Ferrero and Samuel López, his two coaches, thinking of improving the details that allow him to aspire to triumph in his following commitments.

Then Róterdam and Doha, Alcaraz will play the first two ATP Masters 1000 the season at the BNP Paribas Open of Indian Wells and at the Miami Open presented by It Itaú. In fact, the Spanish is the current Champion of Indian Wells (champion in 2023 and 2024), and must also defend the quarterfinals he got last year in Miami, in which he ceded in front of Grigor Dimitrov.

After that American tour, the ATP Tour will travel to the European beaten land, and Alcaraz has on its Montecarlo, Barcelona, Madrid, Rome and, of course, Roland Garros agenda. The Murcian, who in 2024 could not play three of those five tournaments for injury (Montecarlo, Barcelona and Rome), will defend the second Grand Slam of the season in Paris, and practically without rest must do the same in Wimbledon, where he has won the last two editions of the tournament.

That demanding summer will put Alcaraz again, but before comes a part with many curves: first, two unpublished tournaments for him, with all the illusion that that supposes; and then a demanding tour of the United States in another pair of tremendously special events for the champion of four Grand Slam titles.
