Tournament organizers at the Australian Open tennis tournament have announced the seeds for the men’s and women’s singles, doubles, and mixed events for the 2024 tournament.

In total, there will be 32 seeded players in the men’s and women’s singles tournaments, with Novak Djokovic the top seed in the men’s singles and Iga Swiatek the top seed in the women’s singles.

In the men’s and women’s doubles, there will be 16 seeded teams while in the mixed doubles, there will be 8 seeded teams.

2024 Australian Open Tennis Seeds

In the men’s singles tournament, Novak Djokovic is the number 1 seed, followed by Carlos Alcaraz as the number 2 seed, Daniil Medvedev as the number 3 seed, with the in-form Jannik Sinner seeded number 4.

Last year’s singles finalist Stefanos Tsitsipas is seeded number 7, with the home favorite Alex de Minaur seeded number 10.

In the women’s singles tournament, the world number 1 and three-time grand slam winner Iga Swiatek is the number 1 seed, with Ons Jabeur the number 2 seed, and Jessica Pegula the number 3 seed.

In the women’s singles tournament, the number 1 seed is Iga Swiatek, who is also the world number 1 and a four-time grand slam winner, while Aryna Sabalenka is the number 2 seed and Elena Rybakina is the number 3 seed.

In the doubles events, the number 1 seeds are Ivan Dodig and Austin Krajicek in the men’s, Coco Gauff and Jessica Pegula in the women’s, with the mixed doubles seeds having yet to be confirmed.
