ATP Challenger Tour announces a global expansion with Tennis Channel
ATP Challenger Tour will issue 35 outstanding tournaments in 20 countries

The ATP Challenger Tour is about to reach an unprecedented hearing in 2025, thanks to a television expansion agreement that will take tennis to millions of people. A new alliance with Tennis Channel will allow the issuance of 35 outstanding Challenger events, with improved production and broadcast, in Austria, France, Germany, India, Netherlands, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom and the USA.
In addition to issuing the individual and double -box double matches played on the central clues, Tennis Channel will produce original content underlining the unique identity and great stories of the Challenger Tour. Among others, there will be interviews with players, preseason training sessions and expert analysis, strengthening the scope of the Challenger Tour in social and digital environment.
ATP Media, the ATP media division, will complement the distribution of Tennis Channel by increasing the list of territories and chains worldwide, expanding the television rights of the Challenger Tour and strengthening it as an international platform to show the future stars of tennis. Among the currently included territories are Italy, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Lithuania, Japan and New Zealand.

Among the next emission Challenger tournaments are the Challenger 125 of Mexico City (April 7-13 and San Marino (July 14-20) as well as the Challenger 175 of Aix-en-Provence (April 28-May 4), Turin (13-18 May) and Bordeaux (May 13-18).
This Thursday’s announcement is part of the ATP Onevision Strategy, which has generated a record bag of record prizes of 28.5 million dollars for the 2025 season, an increase of 135% since 2022. Among the improvements are also the introduction of Challenger 175 tournaments, the commercialization of rights with tennis data innovations (TDI) and the establishment of a manager ATP Challenger Tour.
