Alex Michelsen, Hamad Medjedovic and Luca Nardi have qualified for the Next Gen ATP Finals Presented by NEOM, which will take place in Yada (Saudi Arabia) from November 28 to December 2.

The three figures join Arthur Fils, Dominic Stricker, Luca van Assche, Flavio Cobolli and guest Abdullah Shelbayh, who sealed their places during the month of November. The tournament squad, which brings together eight players under 22 years of age, is completed for the 2023 edition.

The American Michelsen has had a stellar season, winning two ATP Challenger Tour titles and reaching his first ATP Tour final in Newport. At just 19 years old, and after turning professional in July, he managed to break into the Top 100 of the Pepperstone ATP Rankings at the beginning of November.

Medjedovic has risen solidly in 2023 following the advice of his coach Viktor Troicki. At 20 years old, he has won three ATP Challenger Tour titles this season and reached the ATP Tour semifinals in Gstaad and Astana. The Serbian faces his first participation in the emerging stars event in Jeddah.

Nardi took the last place in the tournament. The Italian, who served as a reserve at last year’s event, has closed the season strong to secure his spot by winning an ATP Challenger Tour tournament in Matsuyama (Japan) before reaching the semi-finals in Kobe.

The sixth edition of the Next Gen ATP Finals will take place at King Abdullah Sports City from November 28 to December 2. Tickets are now on sale.
