As you would expect, the V2 and V3 of the Clash 100 have very similar racket specs as they both have the same head size (100in), racket length (27in), strung weight (312g), balance (7 pts HL), and string pattern (16×19).
In terms of differences, the V3 (311g) has a slightly lighter swing weight when compared with the V2 (313g), but the difference in weight is very negligible.
The V3 (54) also has a lower stiffness rating than the V2 (57), which should please tennis players who prefer the stiffness offered by the V1 of the Clash.
Is it worth upgrading to the new V3 Clash?
If you just look at the differences in terms of specs then there don’t seem to be huge differences between the V2 and V3 Clashs but in my opinion, the lowering of the stiffness from 57 is 54 is a positive.
Another positive is the change in the color and design of the frame as I was not a big fan of the cherry red used in the V2.
However, I think the changes aren’t worth it if you already own a V2 or V1 of the Clash.
