Seeking history, American Taylor Fritz will face world No. 1 Jannik Sinner in the US Open final in New York from 2 pm EDT/ 8 pm CET on Sunday at Arthur Ashe Stadium.
Fritz is aiming to become the first American male Grand Slam champion since Andy Roddick triumphed at Flushing Meadows in 2003. The Californian is already the first American man in a Grand Slam final since Roddick at Wimbledon in 2009.
On the other side of the net, Sinner will try to win his second major after lifting the Australian Open trophy in January. Both players are now tied (1-1) in the Lexus ATP Head2Head record.
