Wawrinka and Gasquet lead Roland Garros’s invitations

Stan Wawrinka and Richard Gasquet will be in the main box of the Grand Slam on whipped land.

Stan Wawrinka and Richard Gasquet lead the guest list in Roland Garros, as announced on Tuesday.
The rest of the players who received an invitation for the main box were the French Terence Atmane’s, Arthur Cazaux, Pierre-Hugues Herbert and Valentin Royer, in addition to the Australian Tristan School and the American Emilio Nava.
Wawrinkka, who at 40 participated for the first time in Roland Garros 2005, won the title in the Grand Slam on beaten land in 2015. The Swiss has arrived, at least, to the quarterfinals five times and has a record of 46-18 in the tournament, according to the index of victories and defeats Infosys ATP.
For its part, Gasquet, 38, debuted at Roland Garros 2002 with 15 years. The old No. 7 of the PIF ATP Rankings was quarterfinalist in 2016 on the whipped land, where he will end his career.
The tournament organization also announced eight of the nine seats available for the previous one as a guest, which went to Robin Bertrand, Geoffrey Blancaneaux, Sascha Gueymard Wayenburg, Moise Kouame, Mae Malige, Matteo Martineau, Luka Pavlovic and Clement Tabur.
