Seven Match Points later, Fritz achieves his victory No. 80 in Masters 1000

Berrettini expires in three sets and advances to SF of the tournament for the first time

Taylor Fritz reaches at least one semifinal of Masters 1000 per season since 2021. The American has lengthened the streak this Thursday by beating Matteo Berrettini with partials of 7-5, 6-7 (7), 7-5 to add his first victory in a quarterfinals of the Miami Open presented by Itau.
