Andrey Rublev achieved his 350s victory in the circuit after moving forward this Friday to the Bitpanda Hamburg Open final for the third time in his career.
The third standard head offered a blunt exhibition to overcome Felix Auger-Aliassime 6-1, 6-4 in the ATP 500 on whipped land. Rublev, who triumphed in Hamburg in 2020, connected 18 winning blows and did not face any breakdown, according to Infosys ATP Stats.
“Without a doubt, it was my best game of the week,” Rublev said after improving his record at the Lexus ATP Head2head with Auger-Aliassime. “I think I’m playing better game. It helped me Felix played a very difficult game against [Alexandre] Muller last night, which ended quite late. It also gave me some advantage. ”
Rublev has descended to the 17th position of the PIF ATP Rankings after not being able to defend its points at the ATP Masters 1000 in Madrid at the beginning of the month, but has responded with an impressive performance in Hamburg. The 27 -year -old looks for his second title of the season after winning in Doha.
