Another of the most characteristic elements of this space is the replica of the sculpture that Roland Garros dedicated to Rafa and, recently, gave the Spanish French Tennis Federation and Amelie Mauresm, current director of the tournament.
In addition, fans can also see in this new space a spectacular sculpture by Rafa Nadal to real size, recreating one of their most iconic celebrations. The space is complemented with 4 screens that contain emotional audiovisual content dedicated to the deeds harvested by Rafa in its most special Grand Slam. As every detail counts, 112 tennis balls have also been located in recognition of the 112 Spanish victories in Roland Garros.
From today the new area dedicated to Roland Garros in Rafa Nadal Museum is already accessible. Similarly, Paris will also pay tribute to Rafa in the tournament itself with an exposure to which the 14 Rafa trophies will travel.
Rafa’s relationship with France lived an unforgettable chapter last summer when he was chosen to carry the Olympic torch at the inauguration of the Olympic Games of Paris 2024. Both the torch and its medals and Olympic memories are also exposed in a new area of the museum.
