Navone still does not fail in its premiere in a land tournament in 2025

He is the first Romanian to play an ATP Tour tournament since Marius Copil did it in Tel Aviv 2022 and the first local player to win a match in this tournament since Victor Hanescu did it in 2014 (it was not played between 2017 and 2023).

To continue making history in Bucharest, he will have to beat Valentin Vacherot, who arrives from the previous one, or Bosnio Damir Dzumhur.
