The BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, the cinch Championships at the Queen’s Club in London and the Qatar ExxonMobil Open in Doha were chosen as the tournaments of the year at the ATP Awards.

The BNP Paribas Open in Indian Wells, the cinch Championships at the Queen’s Club in London and the Qatar ExxonMobil Open in Doha were chosen by players as the tournaments of the year in their respective categories at the 2024 ATP Awards. All three tournaments repeat as winners .
The cinch Championships was also awarded special recognition for its standards of excellence, along with the Rolex Shanghai Masters and the Nordea Open in Bastad.
Indian Wells celebrated its 10th consecutive year as the ATP Masters 1000 tournament of the year. Located in the middle of a beautiful natural setting, with the desert as a backdrop, the Indian Wells Tennis Garden offers first-class facilities and services, a large number of training courts that allow fans to see the players up close and options unparalleled gastronomy.
“It is an honor that for 10 years in a row players have voted Indian Wells as the best Masters 1000 tournament on the circuit,” said tournament director Tommy Haas. “This unprecedented achievement is a testament to our team’s unwavering commitment to excellence, as well as the dedicated support of our owner Larry Ellison, sponsors, fans, volunteers and many more who contribute to the success of our tournament.”
The BNP Paribas Open 2024 distributed more than 19 million in prizes and welcomed 493,440 fans over two weeks, both of which were record figures for the tournament. This year also saw the debut of the BNP Paribas Open Doubles Invitational, marking the first time that a Masters 1000 featured a mixed doubles competition.
Carlos Alcaraz defeated Daniil Medvedev in the men’s singles final to defend his Indian Wells crown, while Wesley Koolhof and Nikola Mektic won the doubles title.
The cinch Championships took the honor of being the ATP 500 tournament of the year for the third consecutive time and sixth in total (2015-16, 2018, 2022-24). Tommy Paul won the trophy in the singles event at the Queen’s Club in London, while Neal Skupski and Michael Venus won the doubles.

The Qatar ExxonMobilOpen was chosen as the ATP 250 tournament of the year for the sixth time. Before, he also had the honor of being so in 2015, 2017, 2019, 2021 and 2022. The tournament held in Doha will become the ATP 500 in 2025. Karen Khachanov and the doubles pair composed of Murray and Venus won the title in Doha 2024.
