The Czech Republic will be in the quarterfinals of the United Cup, after being the best second place in Sydney.

In the United Cup quarter-final draw, the winner of Group B was scheduled to face the best second-place finisher in Sydney. However, this will not be the case.

No runner-up can compete against the winner of the same group.

Therefore, Poland, which finished as winner of Group B, faced each other this Wednesday in the last round of the group stage, so they will not be able to meet again in the quarterfinals.

In this case, Czech Republic exchanges its position with the winner of the lowest ranked group in the city in which it competes.

In this way, the Czechs exchange places with the winners of Group F, Great Britain, and will therefore face Italy, winner of Group D. Great Britain will play Poland.
