A few days after winning the first title of his 2025 at the ABN Amro Open of Rotterdam, and after having time to rest and disconnect, Carlos Alcaraz landed in Doha this Friday to play for the first time in his career in the Qatar Exxonmobil Open, of ATP 500 category.
After spending time in Murcia with his, No. 3 of the PIF ATP Rankings moved to Madrid to fly to the Catar capital. Before, however, the Spanish had time to train at the Chamartín Tennis Club, one of the most emblematic in Spain, along with Martín Landaluce. At night, and next to the rest of his team, Alcaraz rode on a plane to Doha.
Again accompanied by Samuel López, who since this season officially exercises as second coach (the first is still Juan Carlos Ferrero), Alcaraz left to train on the slopes of the Qatar Exxonmobil operate as soon as they take land, starting the process of adaptation to a Tournament unknown to him in his career, and that in this edition is again full of great stars.
Together with Alcaraz, players like Jannik Sinner, Novak Djokovic, Daniil Medvedev or Álex de Miñaur, Andrey Rublev, Grigor Dimitrov or Stefanos Tsitsipas will be in Doha. With a spectacular historic winners, including Djokovic, Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer or Andy Murray, the champion of four Grand Slam titles will seek to give continuity to the good moment so he exhibited in Róterdam with another great week in Doha.
Waiting to know his fate in the draw of the painting, which will take place on Saturday morning, Alcaraz continued taking steps to approach his best version before being released in his third tournament of the season, after the Australian Open and Rotterdam .
