Doubles legends Bob Bryan and Mike Bryan will be inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame next year, the organization announced Thursday. They will be part of the class of 2025 along with Maria Sharapova.

“It’s been a great journey, the career, doing it together,” Bob said in a video call with former WTA star Kim Clijsters, president of the International Hall of Fame.

“There were a lot of people who got involved in our race,” Mike added. “Obviously our parents made tennis fun for us, they accompanied us along the way with unconditional love and support.”

The American twins took the doubles event to another level with a career full of success, with 119 titles and 1,109 match wins. They spent 438 weeks as No. 1 in the PIF ATP Doubles Teams Rankings, won 16 Grand Slams and for 15 consecutive years reached a major final, making a total of 178 finals.

The brothers proudly represented the United States, helping their country win the Davis Cup in 2007 and win the Olympic gold medal at the 2012 London Games.

“It is an honor to welcome Maria Sharapova and Bob and Mike Bryan into the International Hall of Fame in 2025,” Clijsters said. “Beyond their achievements on the court, the Class of 2025 has had a profound impact on the sport of tennis and inspired many generations of fans around the world. “We are looking forward to seeing each other in Newport next year.”

The 2025 induction will take place at the ceremony set for August 21-23, 2025.

Mike concluded, “When we’re done we’ll do a chest bump there, if we find enough room in the room.”
