Alcaraz now has 11 great titles, a combination of Grand Slam championships, trophies in the Nitto ATP finals and ATP Masters 1000 tournaments, and Olympic gold medals in individuals. The Spanish, who also won in Montecarlo last month, has conquered multiple large titles in four consecutive seasons.

The 22 -year -old has won seven ATP Masters 1000 trophies, obtaining glory in each of the first five Masters 1000 events of the season at least once in his career. Despite playing his first tournament in the elite only four years ago (Miami 2021), Alcaraz is now tied with Michael Chang and Alexander Zverev as the eighth player with more crowns in the history of the series (since 1990).

The Spanish has constantly uploaded its level with great titles at stake. In matches for the title, Alcaraz has an amazing 11-2 record. His two defeats have been against Novak Djokovic, the player with the most large titles (72) in history.

Alcaraz has triumphed in these tournaments at a historical level, winning more than one large title for every five of those he has played (1 title for every 4.5 events). Only Novak Djokovic (3,2), Rafael Nadal (3.5) and Roger Federer (4,4) are ahead of Spanish. The No. 2 of the PIF ATP Ranking has won great titles at a rate higher than that of legends such as Pete Sampras (4.9) and Andre Agassi (6,1).

Sinner tried to shorten distances with Alcaraz. If the Italian had won at home, he would have approached a great title of his rival. Sinner did not lose a game since last year’s final against Alcaraz.
