Seven years after her first Top 20 win (over Kristina Mladenovic in the first round of Tokyo 2017), Jana Fett notched her second, defeating Donna Vekic in the first round of the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix. In a first-time encounter between the 28-year-old Croatians, Fett came back from 4-1 down in the first set and held off a late charge by Vekic from 5-1 in the second.
