Medvedev has yet to win a title this year, but his consistent play has placed him second in the Live Race. The 28-year-old is trying for the sixth year in a row to qualify for the year-end championship. He lifted the trophy in 2020.
After Medvedev, completing the current Top 8 are Alexander Zverev (1,835), Carlos Alcaraz (1,700), Álex de Miñaur (1,495), Grigor Dimitrov (1,465), Andrey Rublev (1,060) and Sebastián Báez (1,060).

The Serbian has won a record seven titles in the event.
Although Ruud, ninth, and Humbert, tenth, are not in a qualifying position after the first quarter, they have shown signs that they will continue to be in contention in the coming months.
Ruud is 18-5 so far this year, including appearances in championship games in Acapulco and Los Cabos. Humbert, seeking his first qualification for the season-ending event, lifted the trophy in Marseille and Dubai, marking his first year with two circuit-level titles since 2020.
