Nadal congratulates Verdasco and Schwartzman for their races

Rafael Nadal retired at the end of last season, but Spanish is still aware of the news of the ATP Tour. Old No. 1 of the PIF ATP Rankings congratulated two of his teammates in the circuit, after they have the racket recently.

The 38 -year -old Spanish wrote a congratulation message for his compatriot Fernando Verdasco, who played the last game of his career in Doha with Novak Djokovic.

“We live great battles on the track and very beautiful moments with Spain in the Davis Cup! Congratulations on your great career, @ferverdasco! ”, Nadal published. “I hope you can continue to enjoy your family and your new challenges even more. See you soon!”.

The Spaniards played together eight times at the ATP Tour, the first one 20 years ago (in July 2005). They are two of the 20 players in their country who have entered the Top 10 of the PIF ATP Rankings. And Nadal dominates 17 of the 20 duels recorded by the Lexus ATP Head2head between them.

It All Adds Up

Nadal also shared a message for Diego Schwartzman last week. The Manacorí won 11 of its 12 face to face to the Argentine, being the most recent of them that played in the quarterfinals of Roland Garros 2021.

“Congratulations @dieschwartzman for your great career! You have been an example of struggle and overcoming and I am glad that we have shared so many moments in the circuit. Enjoy your next stage! ”

Verdasco (559) and Schwartzman (251 combine 810 games won in the individual modality, according to the index of victories and defeats Infosys ATP.
