Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori conquered their fifth title as a team in Róterdam.

Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori demonstrated their sweet state this season, conquering their second crown in 2025 at the ABN Amro Open.
The Italians, third parties of standard in the doubles box, surpassed Sander Gille and Jan Zielinski 6-2, 4-6, 10-6 to stay the trophy on the hard track of the Rotterdam ATP 500.
Bolelli and Vavassori, who had won the six sets played before the final, had to fight to the Tie-Break to ensure their fifth trophy as a team after an hour and 21 minutes.
“Bad luck today was a very hard final,” Balelli acknowledged to his rivals Gille and Zielinski after the first duel recorded by the Lexus ATP Head2head. “I wish you good luck for the rest of the season. There is a long time left, so I think we are going to play many more times this year in front of them. ”
“We started the season in an incredible way. It is a pleasure to share the track with you, ”added Vavassori. “My father and my father are seeing us at home. Thanks to all fans, there was a great atmosphere. It is one of the most beautiful tournaments I have played … It was a great week for us, so we will surely come next year. ”
The Italian pair only let one of the eight points that put in play with its serve in the Super Tie-Break. They ended the encounter with 77% of points won with first service (33/43), according to Inpos ATP statistics.

Bolelli and Vavassori continue to shape a great season in which they have reached the final in all the tournaments they have played, raising their record of matches to 13-1 this course.
Although in Adelaida they conquered the title in their first week of competition in 2025, shortly after in the Australia Open they stayed at the doors, falling in the final with Harri Heliovaara and Henry Patten.
However, Bolelli and Vavassori are only 140 points from No. 1 of the PIF ATP Live Double Teams Rankings that still retain Heliovaara and Patten.
