It All Adds Up

Five things to see in Montpellier
1) First Rublev sown: The powerful Rublev arrives at Montpellier with the intention of winning his first game of the 2025 season, after falling into Hong Kong and the Australian Open. The 27 -year -old trusts in finding his best low shape on the Indoor track of Montpellier: he has won six of his 16 ATP Tour titles on covered track. Rublev, who will premiere against Christopher Eubanks or a player of the previous phase, reached the quarterfinals in his only previous appearance in an event in 2018.

2) Can Felix stand out in France?: Unlike Rublev, Auger-Aliassime has already achieved six victories in the circuit this year, four of them on the way to the title at the Adelaide International. The Canadian, current No. 23 of the PIF ATP Rankings, will try to improve its 2024 performance, when he signed the semifinals in Montpellier, to conquer his sixth ATP crown on covered track. The 24 -year -old, second manager, will begin his tournament against Wawrinka or the Frenchman Arthur Cazaux ..

3) Bublik goes in Montpellier for the hat-trick: A year ago, Auger-Aliassime fell into the semifinals against Bublik, who won his second Montpellier title in three years. The Kazakh has a 10-2 mark in the ATP 250 tournament. The fourth manager, which also has a Bye, will face the German Dominik Koepfer or the French Wild Card Gregoire Barrere.

4) Gasquet and Wawrinka in action: Local fans will have their last chance in Montpellier to encourage the three-time Gasquet champion, which last year announced that he plans to retire after Roland Garros 2025. The Frenchman has a balance of 28-9 in Montpellier, where he triumphed in 2013, 2015 and 2016. Another ex Top 10, Wawrinka, will debut in the tournament, while Lucas Pouille, champion in 2018, and David Goffin, winner in 2021, joins Gasquet and Bublik as former champions in the painting.

5) Doumbia/Reboul go for the defense of the title: In 2024, Sadio Doumbia and Fabien Reboul raised their first atp tour title (and the second in total) by triumphing in Montpellier. They hope to have local support again. The couple, first standard head, will have as rivals in this year the second serial heads Jamie Murray/Edouard Roger-Vasselin and Hong Kong Kong Sander Arends/Luke Johnson. Wawrinka will play in Doubles with Cazaux, his rival in the first round of individuals.
