Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori are voted Fans’ Favorite couple at the 2024 ATP Awards.

After a season in which they won three ATP Tour titles, made their first appearance in the Nitto ATP Finals, and helped Italy retain the Davis Cup title, Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori have been chosen as the Fans’ Favorite couple in the ATP Awards 2024.
“Andrea and I are very happy to win the Fan Favorite award in 2024,” Bolelli said. “We are already back on the slopes training hard for the new season.”
The Italians didn’t need much time to perform in 2024. Together they made their way to the final in their first tournament as a pair, the Australian Open, losing to Rohan Bopanna and Matthew Ebden 7-6(0), 7-5. A second Grand Slam final awaited them at Roland Garros, where they took revenge against Bopanna/Ebden in the semifinals, 7-5, 2-6, 6-2 to once again fight for the title.
“Together with Boli we have had a fantastic season,” said Vavassori, who reached a career-high No. 6 in the PIF ATP Doubles Rankings in October.
The Italians managed to capture three trophies this year (Buenos Aires, Halle, Beijing) and qualify for the Nitto ATP Finals in Turin. Bolelli and Vavassori also scored a decisive victory against Belgium (d. Sander Gille/Joran Vliegen 7-6(2), 7-5) on Italy’s path to its second consecutive Davis Cup title.
