Daniil Medvedev has qualified for the Nitto ATP Finals for the sixth consecutive season, joining his name with Jannik Sinner, Carlos Alcaraz and Alexander Zverev in the final tournament.

At 28 years old, he has won the title in the event that closes the season in 2020, in addition to reaching the last round in 2021.

He will try to add one more crown to his record at the Nitto ATP Finals, from November 10 to 17 in Turin.

The former No. 1 in the PIF ATP Rankings reached his sixth Grand Slam final at the Australian Open, defeating consecutive Top 10 rivals Hubert Hurkacz and Alexander Zverev in the fifth set. It was also their third final at Melbourne Park. It is the fourth year in a row that he has reached a final in a Grand Slam tournament.

However, this was not Medvedev’s only success this year at the Grand Slam. Shortly after, he managed to reach the semifinals at Wimbledon, beating the top seed Sinner in the quarterfinals, before losing to Carlos Alcaraz, who would end up lifting the title.

The 20-time winner of an ATP Tour title appeared in the title match at the BNP Paribas Open, an ATP Masters 1000 tournament held in Indian Wells. Medvedev has a 45-18 record this year, including six semifinals, in a campaign in which he is still chasing his first trophy.

Medvedev has a record of 11-9 at the Nitto ATP Finals. Last year, they made it through the group stage but lost in a three-set semi-final match against local favorite Sinner.
