Roger Federer’s historic career came to an end at the Laver Cup in September 2022, when the Swiss legend competed for the last time. Fans will be able to relive that memorable moment and much more on June 20, when ‘FEDERER: The Last Twelve Days’ launches on Prime Video.
Oscar-winning director Asif Kapadia and his co-director Joe Sabia followed the former No. 1 in the PIF ATP Rankings as the latter announced the end of his 24-year professional career.
The documentary provides unprecedented access to the final 12 days of Federer’s career, with the 103-time tour champion opening up about the reasons behind his decision to retire and what it means to him and his family.

Federer’s last match took place at the O2 stadium in London, where he teamed up with his old rival and friend Rafael Nadal for Team Europe against Team World. The team event became a celebration for Federer and a host of stars including Bjorn Borg, Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray.
